Over the past 3 weeks (yes! It has been 3 weeks), I have experienced humanity at it's finest. Friends, family and complete and utter strangers have offered their support, thoughts, and prayers. This warms my heart and comforts my soul to know that people are genuinely good. An example, a 70ish year old woman approached Glenda in the Cancer Center's boutique (we were hat shopping) and asked who was sick. Glenda explained that it was me. The woman told Glenda that from the moment I walked into the shop, she was praying for me. Then she came and found me in the bathroom to give me a big hug and tell me that I would soon be a beautiful cancer survivor. Wow.
So in the continued spirit of support and inspiration, Glenda gave me an inspiration board to post pictures and things that will be my light at the end of the tunnel - places I'd like to go, things to do, things I love...
So, I want to hear from you....Other than the wonderful people in theis world...What do you love in this life? (a favorite vacation spot, a hobby, a cinematic masterpiece?)

I love the film Life is Beautiful and I think it relates to this post. It's such a tribute to the power of the human spirit and how good people do come out okay in the end. Can't wait to see the things that inspire you; I'm sure they'll inspire others as well.
I love Ireland, animals, rocks, a yummy morning coffee, a great workout, a good glass of wine, sunset, sending cards, quotes, but most of all I love laughing with great friends! :)
LAUGHING! I mean pee your pants, only happens with people who know you best, laughing!
Also, I think something for the board is a trip together! We keep talking about it, and with our men this time! What could be better than best friends together and our wonderful men we love at our sides.
And I have lots of vacation dream spots that I want to hit....Charleston, SC, San Diego, really all 50 states!
I love walking into the younger classrooms and listening to the children learn, sounding words out as they write them, and all the free hugs I get. I could never be a lower grade teacher, but the innocent children untouched by the world is great to see!
I love Santorini, Greece! It's beautiful.
What a sweet idea! I hope you have lots of amazing things at the end of the tunnel waiting for you!
What a wonderful lady! I love coming home to my dog wagging his tail at the door!
What a great question. I would say the little things like a good glass of wine, the smell of old books, making my son laugh until he can't talk, HGTV marathons, and the kiss in "Cinema Paridiso". I could go on and on.
The little details are what I love. Like a great person leaving a coffee on your desk when you're having a bad day! :)
